Elaine Jackson enjoys coaching individuals interested in pursuing their careers in project management.
For the last 5 years, her style of coaching involves getting individuals to understand the project management processes and knowledge areas, and how to apply that knowledge toward passing the Project Management Certification Exam. She applies a holistic approach getting mature students to respond appropriately in prometric center test environment. Her students are encouraged to practice many test experiences so that they improve their practice test scores and they are able to be most comfortable on the day they enter the prometric testing center.
Elaine Jackson achieved her Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification in 2008 after she conducted several study group sessions for project managers employed at Hewlett Packard Company. She realized there was a need for students to be encouraged to finish their studying and for them to make that move in their career journey.
She studied the students in each focus group and tracked what was successful in their study programs and what needed improvement to keep students calm and ready for the test experience. Elaine perfected the study process to the point where her closing rate for getting students to pass the PMP exam is holding at 94%. These students passed the PMP exam on their 1st try. They followed her advice and gave all they had to studying hard and recording their improvements.
Elaine Jackson’s goal is to assist Project Managers world-wide, in virtual and face-to-face interaction to be most ready for the PMP Certification Exam.
Exploring and finding one’s next career opportunity relevant to achieving the PMP Certification is a point that Elaine stresses to each and every student. This increases the use of newly acquired project management knowledge.
As a graduate of an all women’s college, Marymount College, Tarrytown, NY, Elaine earned her BS degree in Biology and worked over six years as a Research Biologist. Her recent courses in Clinical Project Management has added to her knowledge in clinical trials where she looking to grow her career in project management.
She recently completed the Entrepreneurial Training Program at Northern Essex Community College and is on program to speak at various events and in career development and technology programs that have individuals seeking knowledge on how to get more from Project Management and how to get their PMP Certification.
She is the proud mother of son, Marcus Jackson (graduate of Wyotech) and daughter, Patrice Jackson Martin, R.N. BS, RN (graduate of Vanderbilt University).
When not working late hours creating new PMP study programs and PMP study methods – Elaine enjoys gardening, fencing, museum trips, and playing with her new Standard Poodle, Violet.
